Might throw in an e cam when I put on some other parts. Anyone know what needs to be replaced with the cam install? & will the cam cause valve float with the stock springs?
Im guessing a new timing chain, gaskets, & the water pump while its off is all I really need right?

stock e7's max lift is 500. new.. now the e303 has a 498 lift. so even with new springs you can run into problems. with stuff like binding & float..if you can i would change the springs out.

Friend of mine just threw one in is stock motor, is sounded nice but honestly did nothing for him. Save a some money and pick up a used set of gt40s. You can find them for about 300 bucks, your going to spend that on a e303 and springs w/ misc parts for the install.

I ran a F-303 cam with 1.7's on stock heads and never had any problems with coil bind....
