Hey guys I recently broke my oil pump shaft and decided to replace it with a more heavy duty pump shaft from ARP part # 154-7904, they are still the stock length, just beefier, problem is now the distributor does not want to set all they way in the block flush, its is sticking up about a 1/4 of an inch out, has anyone of you guys had this issue and what can I do to fix this? Any info or solutions will be greatly appreciated, thanks guys

I did not check the part number to verify it. Make sure your stock dist does not have a bur in it from when the original shaft broke. btw they just do not break something probably went through or is stuck in the oil pump.
