Buddy at work has either a 94 or 95 GT, what gears does he have in the rear? He says while driving at 75 he revs around 2000rpms.
He is wanting to get 4:10's but is worried about losing gas mileage. i told him he might lose 2mpg IF that by going with 4:10's and would probably be around 2500/2600 rpms on the highway at 75mph...

94-94's have 3.08's stock
ide stick to 3.73's...4.10's a bit much for a stock motor and can be annoying while daily driving.

i tried telling him that, but i think he is determined to get the 4:10's. Tried to tell him if he had an automatic to go 4:10's but since he has a 5spd to stick with 3:73's. I cant arrgue with him, it is his car.lol

3.73's.
4.10's if he's got 18" wheels or larger.

some came with 3.27's
john popped in some 3.73's in my aode 94 for me, I had planned on sc-ing it so that's why I went with them, if I had stayed n/a, I would have gotten 4.10's

I believe it was a option you had to order when they were new. kinda like the 'premium' interior package got you a leather interior and what not.

well i have a fully optioned 95 and it came with 3.08's...anyways.....its all good

it just depends on how the original purchaser ordered it... kinda like nowadays you can specify what gear you want in a new ranger
