I got some 27 by 10 hoosier road racing slicks with F-45 compound I think. Do you guys think they will work? I got them for a hella of a price and was wondering if they would work out for me? Albert

i have had a set, then i sold them to mustanggt5091 and he now daily drives them
basically what we have found is
they hook ok cold they hook quite well when super hot, so do a big burnout
if u throttle them to much they want to wheel hop because of the stiffer side way no giving
i would say when i had them they felt like a bfg drag when cold, and a nitto when very warm

I got my set very very cheap so it is worth a try so basically like a drag radial? I will heat the shit out of them at the track and see what they can do

what size are they exactly, I have 275/45/17 Hoosier road race slicks on my car. They work ok when cold, start to work well after i have been driving around for like 30 minutes( heated up ). I have practiced launching with them and found that john force style burnouts often are the key to them. I would do a big burnout and the first launch was great, second was good third was alright, so basically john force the shit out of them every other run On a side note, i found them to be really cool for street driving short distances and not wearing out. Since they are a harder rubber, but get pretty soft when hot, they dont wear out that fast if I drive short distances, dont have a chance to get soft

They are 27-10-15 a true 27 by 10 for 60 dollars for both of them with more than 50%left on them you can't go wrong. I will burn the shit out of them every run 60 is a cool waste of money for some fun burn outs
