I use the Prothane engine and trans mounts, much stouter than stock, but vibrate pretty bad at first. Jack the engine up pull the mounts, replace, lower motor.

The prothane's are not bad. I would get the energy suspensions mounts myself for one real reason. The prothanes that I installed did not come with the alignment dowels on them. The energy's do. These just help keep the motor placed where it is intended to be.

Strange, the set I installed did not.

Yeah they're a good cheap alternative. Semi-solid (the metal mount wraps entirely around the bushing as opposed to the non-verts which just have metal on the top and bottom of the bushing).

If this is a daily driver I'd probably go with the 'vert mounts...The polyurethane mounts will transmit more engine noise...

You can't get factory pre 93/non-convertable mounts anymore. They don't make them. You can only get the 93 & convertable mounts these days..... or the poly aftermarket units.
I just replaced my motor mounts with stock 93 replacements & had major fitment problems (due to the turbo kit). I just swapped those out for ASP aluminum solids & I must say they are GREAT! They don't feel like solids at all. A little more vibration then the stock mounts, but nothing really noticable. The only problem with them is that you need parts off pre-93 mounts (insulator brackets) in order to install them.
FYI, Polyurethane melts at a lower temp then rubber. If you run a turbo, or your longtubes run close to the mounts, they may melt.
