Where is the best place to install a msd 6AL. I have a cold air intake and my battery is in the stock location. Should it even be installed in the engine compartment? Peace

I mounted my 6AL on an 1/8" thick aluminum sheet that I mounted to the frame rail(Pre drilled and then used "self tapping" screws)...Its underneath the windsheild washer bottle in the drivers side fender well...It gets plenty of cool air and never got a drop of rain on it...Its close to the battery and ignition coil too....

I saw where shaun mounted it and it looks good. One thing I thought of shaun is that you don't want to get it wet alot so don't drive through puddles
