i have a 4.6 with a bunch of mods that im worin on and i have 373 gears would it be worth it to upgrade and get 390's or 410's? i am basically gonna do a lot of 1/4 mile racing and a little freeway driving. but i was wondering if it would be worth it to put different gears in it.i will also put a 150 shot on top of this.???????

If you don't do that much freeway driving 410 are cool but if you have to commute in you car i would not.

i have a work truck that i drive so i wont have to commute it what do u think 410' will be at on the freeway at 75-80 mph?

ask matt or christina with the white 98 cobra.. snake98girl-imbroken- somthing like that/.. they run 4:30 gear and do alotta freeway driving there car sounds and performs kicks ass when they drive away.. but if you drive alot on the freeway i mean like 25 %..go with 4:10 0r 3:90

get 4 10's... you'll be a little below 3k rpm at 80 mph.

im not sure but if i get rid of the 373's i give u a hollar.i can even install them for u

not like anyone ever listens to me but I recommend 3:55 gears in 5 speed stangs with not much engine mods first gear is still usable and you can get into the powerband better. If your car is making some good power then try 3:27's. 3:73's and 4:10's are only good for automatics. but you also said that you want to go on the freeway so stick with the 3:55's.

well im gonna buy the new nos nozzle kit for the new motor and i am basically only gonna drive the car on the weekends to and from the track so thats why im thinking about the 390's or 410's

You have 3.73s right now, I would keep them and see what rpm your at when you cross the traps with a 150 shot. Then figure out if you want to go to different gears.
