I have a 2000 GT VERT. all stock...my only mods are 17x9 Cobra R's and a Bassani X-Pipe with Cats. I still have my stock mufflers in the car, but just putting the Bassani X-pipe is not loud enough,I gained a little bit of power but I want it more louder, I stopped by "Mission Muffler & Brake" on Mission in Hayward and asked for something louder and they told me about SPINTECH Hi-Performance Exhaust Systems, they said it sounds great!!!!! That it will give me like a NASCAR type sound that it would be very loud! what do you guys know about this?? They said it will increase my horse power and increase my fuel mileage. What do you guys know about this??? They sell the mufflers for $125 a piece which would be $250 for both, I also asked about chrome tips, they said they cost $18 a piece which would bring it up like $290 for the 2 mufflers, the (2) 2 1/2 tips and intallation including tax. What do you guys think of this deal and do you guys know about the SPINTECH systems????????? Thanks....

Those guys seem to speak highly of the spintech mufflers. I haven't had first hand experience with the spintechs, but I've heard a lot of good things. I went to Mission Muffler awhile ago to get my flows done with tips and they recommended that I get the spintechs as well. They did good work on my car too, so I wouldn't worry about that.
By the way JR, I think I saw you driving a few days ago over by McDonalds on Jackson. Your car a convertible with a black top??? If so, it looks real nice

There's been a lot of talk about SpinTech on the Bullitt Club forum - the consensus is that they are great sounding, hi quality mufflers.
Additionally, the local authority on Superformance Cobra's in the Bay Area uses them on his custom undercar exhaust systems (for roadster style Cobras).
Have Fun, Randy R...

Nope...I don't have Spintechs on mine. I'm thinking about it though.
