So I posted here before and thanks to you guys before I made a dumb decision , you helped me realize it was a Mark viii motor. So I turned him down. Been doing some searching and its been up there for a minute I came across a supposedly "Mach 1" motor from a Christian Shop or some like that. Story behind it is he claims it was a replacement engine for a SUV but they fixed the old motor and this one they've been trying to sell just no one came and got it... If I get it I will be selling my engine this weekend and going down there to get it. Don't want to be carless tho with a non Mach motor. Two wrongs don't make a right lol... Anyways here are the pics.!! ANY HELP is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

In pretty sure the valve covers are not from a Mach 1. I think the mach said "V8 32 Valve" only, not intech... Maybe the motor is from a Mach but could have stuck on different valve covers. If this is from a shop see if they have documentation for the motor.

I thought the covers were silver but I am not 100%

These motors are going for around $3500-$5000

Exactly what I was thinking and after me not believing him he did some research came back as a Lincoln Aviator motor... Are you familiar with that being swappable as a way to make a 2v to 4v.? Or will much work be needed.?? I have a 99 GT automatic his is a automatic 6 Crank engine.... With paperwork and only 70k miles supposedly. Is it a direct swap or a lot more work into it?

I did a swap into my 97 GT with a 98 Cobra 4v. Mostly everything hooked up into original locations. I just had to extend a few wires like the TPS and some coolant temp sensors. Also need to use the correct length throttle cable. Other than that it can be done. Not to much other major mods are needed. The stock H pipe should go right up as well.

You can also switch out the intake for a 99-01 Cobra one.

The InTech 32v 4.6 is a lincoln motor, not exactly a mach1 motor.. but a lot of the parts are interchangeable which we found out when buying parts for my buddys mach1 motor rebuild.. i think some of them are different depending on the year.. the motor mounts & bellhousing mounting is different because some of those came in FWD, so definitely do a little more research on that exact year/make/model motor before you buy it..

The intech motors are from lincoln aviators usually. The aviator heads flow better than stock cobra heads from the reading I have done.

Some differences in the motors include a non forged crank with less bolt holes for the flywheel (6 instead of 8) i think most of these were teksid blocks but that might depend on the year of the motor. Cams are different but all of the mach parts can swap over onto or into this motor for the most part.
