91 block with flat top pistons afr 165 heads 333pt1 headgaskets cam is .512 lift with 1.6 and .544 lift with 1.7 ...does anyone know if ill have ptv clearance if I do go with the 1.7 rockers ?

You will have to check with clay on top of the pistons to know for sure. You can check with the 1:6's and see how much clearance you have if you are trying to decide to by 1:7's.

Lift has nothing to do with ptvc. It is valve event timing that dictates ptvc.

Also the hp difference between 1:6's and 1:7's is not very much.

I was just wondering why people always say PTV clearance has nothing to do with lift. Does a cam have more or less lift with a change from 1.6 to 1,7 rockers??? If yes it has more lift at OVERLAP!!!! Of course lift effects PTV clearance If it did not matter we would not be having this conversation!!!

Always check it!!

I think what they mean is peak lift. They need to be more concerned with valve events before and after tdc at overlap. (like you said) Then after doing that see if the 1.7 will clear.

to the op is lobe lift around .340?? if so then
1.6 rocker arm is .544
1.7 rocker arm is .578
