Ok so my fuel gas stopped working a week ago and now im trying to get a new unit. The problem im having is thay auto parts stores do not show a floater on the new unit. I have dropped a couple tanks before but dont remember if it has a float. So my question is does the unit in the tank have a float or what do i do? Im confused and i almost ran out of gas twice on the freeway already becausr i dont know how much fuel i have

u can always put a 87-93 sending unit.. only issue is that ur fuel gauge will read backwards haha ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Fuel sending unit is seperate from the fuel pump.. the sending unit is the one in the middle of the tank.. try calling Steve or Matt.. or even Duncan should have it.. I dont think Lee has any 86's right now.. I had got my 86 sending unit from Steve..

Beware, many places have been selling 83-86 efi sending units for years and they don't work. They just started reproducing the correct units just recently.. Hope the Napa one works!

I hope so too if not ill return that shit lol. It costs like 180 almost but since shops dont get taxed and dont pay list i got it for almost half. Thanks for the info though
