Alright I have the option of getting a 95 5.0 for next to nothing but I have been told to not even touch it as a donor lol the block is the same as a fox but top end is different, bell housing is different, driveshaft different, different fuel injection set up ecu intake is different.
So here is my Q is it worth having it as a donor for my 5.0 swap in my 4cyl or keep looking for a wrecked fox? Only parts i know I could use is rear end and front 5 lug

Get it don't let it pass you by. The longblock you can use and the 5 lug suspension. That alone make it worth it and also whatever you don't use someone will need something from it

So everything bolts up no problem? So what I heard about the fuel system bell housing etc doesn't apply?

Ok ok keep the longblock and trans change the bell housing to a fox one so it's shorter (I think) might as well do a clutch while it out. Keep the rear end it bolts up Keep the whole front spindle and brakes and get the steeda x2 ball joints or go the cheap route an buy the spacers in the suspension section on corral.net dude ships the pair for like 12 bucks. The fuel system I believe doesn't work except fuel rails and injectors everything is parts for someone else

You do know the 94/95 transmission wouldnt work with fox body bell housing

Well coincidently Dave we are both wrong. The input shaft on a sn95 is barely longer therefore the bell housing is longer. If he uses the sn95 trans as is he will be spot on. The t5 is all the same except the internals but that's neither here not there. The sn95 t5 as in a foxbody will fit.

I would do it, the 94-95 T-5 is the best one made, I had a Orange Coupe with a 95 Cobra drivetrain and it worked great. The key when running a 94-95 T-5 is to use the correct bellhousing and flywheel from a 94-95. You can either use a Foxbody V8 harness and throttle linkage or try to use the 94-95 stuff.

If the sn95 is clean and running, keep it and drive it till you find a wrecked or cheap fox to get parts from.

I have a '95 short block, it does it damn good job, as for the transmission I might have the '95 one too not too shure but it might be since most the stuff from my car came from a wrecked low milage '95.

Driving it isn't an option lol its basically donor status only but everything is there except headers and intake tube.
Sn95 5.0 headers same as a fox?

No headers are not the same, N I don't think you can use the intake.

Easy way would be get fox intake and headers?
Is there a reason the intake won't work? Too tall or wronh position?

The intake will work, it's just your throttle body is at a awkward angle, preventing the use of a typical CAI for a Fox. You'll need to use the air intake setup from the donor. Make sure to swap throttle cables too, it'll save the drama of figuring it out after you've gotten rid of it.
