hey guys ive been thinking about converting my 4 banger notch to 5 lug.I wanna go all sn95 front and rear no mark vii and ranger bullshit ha...i seen you could use a sn95 brake booster and por val from a sn95 without gutting the porportion valve and using the adjustable por valve is this true?? and i know if wanna use my ebrake to work iwould need to get the 93 corba cables.LMK ifiam missing anything thanks Cafords....

dont need the sn95 booster, i would use the 5.0 booster just because its a smaller diameter than the 4cyl one. bypass the stock prop valve and just put an adjustable one at the passenger side firewall, easiest way imo. you will need the adapter fitting or conversion brake lines for the front/passenger side, 5.0 front shocks, and if you change the whole rear end, you will need a different rear brake hose. used 93' cobra cables on my friends car and they seem to work ok

its not the booster you need for 4 disc its the master cylinder Sn95 is 15/16" or 93 cobra 11/8" i think. I used a Sn95 mastercylinder and booster and i didnt do the proportion valve figured the valve on the sn95 is already setup for disc why gut one valve to put an adjustable one in No problems for the last 4 yrs

93 Cobra brake cables can only be used if you have a 93, for some reason Ford made all 93 Mustangs brake cable setup different than the other years, instead of having a floating merge for the cables, the merge was attached to the body, some guys cut that section out of a 93 and tack weld it in on an older year, also I would use a 94-95 brake booster.

I did a 91 4cyl conversion with sn95 rear end and 93 cables...? Fit like stock

And if u use 94-95 m/c its 1 1/16" bore

Ok triple b just to clarify one thing you used the sn95 master cylinder and booster plus the sn95 port Val? Without have to do the gutting and throwing another adjustable port Val?

I believe Tim used 95 Cables and removed that bracket from a 95 and tack welded into his Foxbody.

the second pic does look like sn95 cables, its been about a year since i did the swap on my friends car so i dont remember too clearly, but i dont think he had the bracket like your first pic, everything was routed like stock but had the caliper ends on it for disc, works great w/ no other modifications...

might as well cash out $45 each from 50resto and get the ones made for the swap, thats what i was planning whenever i get around to doing it on my car

exactly....just had to cut add the correct flair fittings to the old hard brake lines and re-flair them tighen and bleed the whole system. I have a coupe1988 if that any comparison
and you can buy the parking brake cables u need from 50resto u need one M 2810 A and two M2809 A brake linesthis also requires you to modify the e brake handle

Just ditch the stock proportioning valve. The SN-95 valve will not be the correct bias because they are heavier cars. You can use a few different master cylinders, It just depends on your brake setup front and rear. The booster just dictates pedal feel. I didnt change mine when I did the conversion.

LOL what is the correct bias? Can u tell me exactly on the turn on that adjustable prop valve no? The stock valve is fine no need to spend another 80bux to have a ugly valve by your passenger side firewall
