Brand new stock length pushrods should be used. Emphasis on NEW, only because debris collects in them that cannot be cleaned out. It accumulates and eventually plugs the oil passage.

Just because you have aluminum heads doesn't mean you make 300+HP bro... There is more to a combo then just cylinder heads. If you want to port some GT40 irons and pray for 275rwhp then go right ahead. I was referring to stock gt40 irons not making 290rwhp...
I'm not a hater Rick hahahaha, "Copcar" on the board is cutting 12.4 with his coupe on gt40s and a gt40 intake with whack nitto drags. I respect that.

That's what I was just going to say never again will I buy a off the shelf cam custom in my feelings even though maybe more but to get the most out of it custom can the only way to go. I am tearing my car apoart to do my top end all over because I am not happy with my set up at all talk to ed at fti he spendy but you get what you pay for

REAL gt40 heads can make power
one of my buddies went 11.60 on gt40 irons, light ported exhaust , box stock gt40 tubular intake, and a 125 shot, on 4.10's with et drags
people say you cant go fast cuz they either use stupid gears, a stupid intake, or they just plain cant drive
explorer lowers ARE NOT gt40 lowers....they just look like them
you need to port them pretty good just to meet real gt40 specs, and i bet they flow no better than stock.....which by the way will support 300 hp all day long
