Topic: hard wire fuel pump to a switch

my pump loses power sometimes and gets like only 6 volts,and sometimes it wont even turn on.i already checked the relays and new pump and just want it wired straight up and to a toggle switch.
how would i wire it,do i need a relay ,what size wire,what size fuse???

Maybe its just me, but I always prefer to fix the problem not work around it. It is not a hard fix. Depending on year of car find the fuel pump relay under the seat, or on the firewall and do some testing of the wires with a Meter.
Here is a diagram, if you have any questions on testing lmk.
