what exactly do they mean here?

http://cdn.lrsstatic.com/downloads/instructions/bbk-2525.pdf

quote:
Using masking or duct tape place one piece on each axis of the strut tower/fender well. Use felt tip pen to
mark the location of the strut on the strut tower/fender well. This will enable you to return the strut to the
previously established alignment setting.

where do you mark it? mark the location of the bolt? any pics of what they mean?

and how do you use 2 open end wrenches to undo the strut nut? (i dont have an impact gun, so caveman way is only route)

quote:
Remove the nut at the top of the strut with an impact wrench or two open end wrenches.
FYI im replacing my strut and cc plates..thnx for any help

They are talking about a refrence mark to the strut, so when you put it back together you line it up with your mark.

It's going to be a PITA to loosen the strut with wrenches, you're better off getting a compressor.

You can mark it on the inside of the strut tower
 -

On yours just pick a spot, make a reference mark, then when it goes back together line it up.

The spindle bolts were the worst with arm strength lol but i got a closed end on there, and used foot power to loosen it....had to do that to all 4...took a good 3.5 hours
