posting for a buddy...
92 coupe 5.0 5-speed....now when it starts it will idle @2k-3k rpm's before a few minutes later dropping to idle at 1k to 900 rpm's and suggestions what this issue could be......also 75% of the time it will start the other 25% of this time it wont as it just cranks and cranks and cranks but never will start untill you push start it so he changed the selanoid and then the fuel pump but still the same issues any suggestions what else may be the problem would be appreciated could it possibly be the starter?

I would check condition of starter and flywheel but I also had a simular problem and changing my computer helped but it could also be that the computer hasn't fully learned the idle

check your air idle control valve, on bak of the throttle body..
