it wont work with your current water pump...need to change the water pump to a standard rotation pump or have a P/S pump/dead pulley on the driver side to get the belt to turn your pump in the correct direction (assuming its a 5.0L pump on there now)

It mounts on the driver side(where the P/S was) and the stock 5.0L tensioner mounts on the bracket

easiest and cheapest way to have a setup that will never squeel the belt is to just get a 85 ford crown vic 5.8L waterpump and mod the serpentine pulley to bolt onto that pump, that pump spins the opposite direction and you can run the belt like this -

 -

~43" belt with smog pump, ~38" belt without the smog pump.

those a/c delete kits are piles of shit and I never was able to get the belt to not squeal at start up with them, they simply don't put enough tension on the belt even with a belt sized so that the tensioner is almost maxed out.
