Problem is that the 351w is wider so my collectors are aimed into a floor support instead of where the exhaust would normally hook up. Not enough room to connect the exhaust. I just finished modifying the clutch equalizer bar so that works with the headers and now this! I'm using 66 style motor mounts and the stock tranny crossmember. The engine is about 1 inch too high. If I can get it one inch lower I should be able to clear the support. These supercomps have been a real pain to stuff in there. Everywhere you look they are about to hit something in the engine compartment. I was thinking of switching to 65 style engine mounts to lower the engine. That won't help lower the tranny though. Any suggestions?
