ive heard good stuff about the detroit lockers and the detroit tru-trac. the trutrac is still a limited slip diff but it apparently gets to the dround way better than a ford trac lok. im thinking of getting a tru-trac or rebuilding my trac lok.

I have a real locker, not the true track. True track is more road racing design. The locker is fine on the street, shit I drive it in the rain. If I did it again I would have probably went spool. Lockers are pretty damn ruff already, and when they engage/dis engage on the street they shift a lot and make a lot of noise. Sometimes I get some weird looks like my car is falling apart.
