Anyone running hooker long tubes or any brand long tubes on a fox body? Any fitment issues? Did you need a hammer? Im trying to decide if I should pull off the shortys and put the lt's on while my trans is out.

I'm running kooks 1 7/8" long tubes with the stock k member. I had to do a little trimming on the k member for clearance and lose the lower k member brace.

I got the drivers side on yesterday evening. A bit of a pita and I don't think the 7/16 head header bolts help. These are 1 3/4 inch tubes and no clearance issues so far. I was a little worried about the steering shaft but there is plenty of room. Now I just hope the short h pipe bolts up with no problems.

Both side went in mostly hassle free. Bolted them in and checked the h pipe to make sure it'll work. Then I had to completely loosen both sides to get the trans in haha that kinda sucked. So what started as an inexpensive trans swap turned into a trans swap, long tubes,5 lug conversion with new axles, battle boxes and draglites all the way around. Also discovered every wheel stud bent. The drivers side was really bad. So check your studs I'm glad I caught it.
