has any1 used afr 185s on stock 89 5.0 pistons?
been reading that they wont clear, but read that a couple people that they have run them wit no problem??

they said the same thing when i bought em for my 94 5.0 stock block and pistonz and ran perfect. not an 89 but still a 5.0

185's wont clear you have to notch the pistons to get them to work

had the E-303 cam. they even told me that cam should have been hitting something..but all this was after they had did the work. lifterz...i dont recall which 1's exactly

trickflows arnt above the piston like a inline head I they are at a Angle

my boy ran 185 all day on his old 93 cobra clone with a comp custom grind cam amd stock pistons with no piston 2 valve clearance issues at all afr part number 1388
