A while back there was a post where somebody had ported there gt40s and gave a link to the equipment he used . I want to learn how to port heads so I was gonna order that kit u suggested ... what all do I need ?

There have been a few posts on this, feel free to do a few searches (keyword type) for them...
As for a good link to start with, try this one. It will explain some of the tools and techniques to get started with. Porting
Whatever you do, GET A GOOD SPRING COMPRESSOR. One cheap one will make you regret it...when the spring flies off and takes you or a windshield out. Also, label...label...label everything. Take your time and know what you're doing before you do it.
