Still cant figure out wats causing this. This started after i blew both head gaskets i replaced um nd it arcd lik crazy tore it apart got the heads checkd ported milled resurfaced and polishd got the the motor freshend up put it bak together nd the thing is still arcing like crazy tryd different sets of new wires different plugs nd even swapd the dizzy. Still arcd right now it has stock dizzy msd cap/rotor nd coil ford racing wires auto lite 3924s gaped at. .38. Motor has two grounds
i knw its an electrical problem but what can it be. Can it be the computer went bad??? Wiring harness seemd fine. I have no idea wat it can be. Need help guys cars beens sitting for a couple months cuz of this problem

I would start by checking to make sure all your grounds are clean and in place. Check the ground cable that attaches to the back of the head to the chassis. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN all ground points. A bad ground can cause all sorts of funky issues.

Also how are you sure its arcing?

FFfororgot to mention i hav had the car for about three years nd it only had one ground nd it ran fine. Problem started after i blew the head gaskets since then i added 2 grounds so now it has 3. I have no idea wats causing this

is the ECU (computer) grounded in the kick panel?

Is the ECU harness ground near the 10 pin connectors grounded?

How about all of the harness grounds by the coil?

I only checked the ground in the kik panel. Ill check the others wen i get some time. Any other ideas other than that

There is a ground wire to the body and I beleive these is a ground wire to one of the heads. Check both to make sure they are connected tight and the contacts and surface are really clean. Consider replacing them if they look fucked up in any way.

Next check your TFI harness to make sure you don't have any bare wires shorting out.
