Trying to put the detach theft system on my boys 86 Coupe it has the tilt steering column. But its fitting looks like it needs a spacer or something in order for it to work.

i put it on my 86 gt with tilt column i had the detach kit and the gt grant steering wheel kit that comes with the little spacers that covers the column behind the detach kit.hopefuly that helps.

so the steering wheel you bought came with spacer to slide on the shaft

theres in adapter thats like 20 bucks you gotta buy , then you detach attaches to that, the your steer wheel last
