Hopefully the system is discharged. If so go to the parts store and purchase some fuel/AC line dissconnects. There are plactic ones. They run $15 or the metal version $19.99.

Do it right and take it to an a/c shop. It's illegal to discharge it to the atmosphere.

i mean what dose it do beside make you drive with the windows down all the time. i know it takes weight off the car an less drag off the engine but dose that even resolve in any noticable hp gains

there's no drag removed from the engine in 99% of driving, the a/c compressor has a clutch on it so it just free spins unless it's actively cycling, and even then if you go full throttle the clutch is disengaged so no power is lost at all.

I just dont want it. I don't use ac. I have four other cars so if I really do need it I'll use those...I'm tryin to clean up the bay by taking the pump lines and crap out...and put my delete kit for a some what cleaner look.
