ok a vaccume line in a friends 2002 taurus came off and the cel light came on i re-attached and did the ol' neg battery cable disconnect for 15 min to reset it...and the next morn it came back on he had driven it home and to work like 15-20 miles the hose is still connected and everything else looks good....now i know it could well have been something else but if the hose was the reason it came on and its fixed and the light came back after i reset it, could it just be the computer repullin that code cause it wasnt really cleared ? i heard that they will keep it stored but i dont know if it will pop back up ...or does that 15 min neg disconnect thing just a bunch of bull shit?? thanks
