there are two kits to rebuild on is a standard type part# M-4700-B, thats what you have in 94 stang (if thats what its going in)

then there is the kit that uses the carbon fiber friction disc part# M-4700-C, those came in the 03 cobra's (I think.

both will work with any 8.8 differential so its just a your choice on what you want to go with

inside of your diff there are bacicly small clutch disc, when these wear out you get the infamous one legger burn outs. these kits are basicly to rebuild your diff. the carbon clutches came in 03 cobra's and those are puting out some damn good HP/TQ numbers, so thats something to think about. the standard clutch disc are will do there job just fine in a stock application or even in a HCI setup ( Heads Cam Intake ).

and with the standard disc some people even restack them in a different order to hold more torque. what they do is remove one steel disc and replace it with a extra friction (get one from their used friction disc)
prices vary carbon fiber = $100
standard = $49.99-$69.99
