Topic: 2001 cobra halfshaft

ok so i broke my halfshaft and im trying to replace it but i cant find one.does anyone know where i can get a 2001 cobra driver side halshaft at?any websites i called all the obvious ones and the dealer and no one has them. thank you for your help

try here ^^ Not sure of the quality of the product though. A simple google search and this is what I found...looks like they have different level half shafts depending on your power. These are quite expensive. If I were you I would call a few dealerships to make sure they cannot get them.

'01 Cobra is 31 spline, so any Terminator half shaft will work too. I'd try ebay. There are always people parting out IRS units.

well i have talked to big valley and they said they have none and cant order any that they had them at one time but no longer carry it.i have called a lot of parts house places the thing is online they are hella expensive and only sell in pairs when i just need one the drivers side

I would go this route and beef it up with a brace and bushing kit while you have it out of the car.

No it wouldnt be the same number. 03-04 are stronger than 01. 03-04 supercedes it.

Got my 03-04's off eBay when I broke mine... They're the same, a little bit beefier.
Got the 2 for half of what 1 01 would have cost me special ordered....
There's nothing wrong with IRS, just remember, IF IT HOPS, STOP!!!!!!
