Author Topic: NEED HELP PLEASE WITH GT40 HEADS 5.0 CGS ¯ Member # 9567 posted                              IM THINKING ON UPGRADING MY STOCK 302 HEADS TO SOME GT40S BUT BEEN TOLD THAT GT40PS ARE BETTER TRUE OR NO? MAC makes a set of headers for them. However, they are limited. Pickup last month's MM&FF. There is a good article on a car with GT40P heads and some bolt on's with dyno numbers. Its like putting an aftermarket throttle body on a stock intake with a stock mass air sensor..... pointless. If your looking for a little more kick throw in some 3.73's and you'll feel more of a gain than with these heads. -------------------- Three 540 Bimmers and a 5.0 Explorer.... got a Ford back in the stable!
