good for NOS

Sure you can, as long as you don't get greedy with boost, the right parts are in place, and it's tuned correctly.

What would be the boost limit u think before it gets to the greedy stage...would a vortech h.o. Blower be too much? Or would the low boost be more suitable

Personally I think that compression is too high for a blower... but others probably have more experience in this area.
If I was going to attempt it I wouldn't run more than 6 psi and pull out A LOT of timing.
Honestly your motor is better suited for NOS.

A lot of factors come into play (cam profile, fuel system, intake, etc) but a general answer is 6psi. A H.O. kit is way too much for it...
If you want to take the cheap and easy route, go nitrous.

Go with Nitrous. You can make 100hp off a dry kit, no problem.
