Anyone have any idea why? the car won't start after I crank it a few times it'll want to start and then shoot fuel out the top and die I'm kinda new to this whole carb. thing thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction

More than likely, your float levels are too high. Is it a Holley? LMK, I'll walk you through setting them.

[worship] Thanks a ton John. Yea it's a stock Holley 4180 I belive also would you know how they could become misadjusted? The carb. worked fine when I uninstalled it, could this possibly happen by moving it from place to place?

make sure your dist is in right not 180 out the will cause it to back fire though the carb

it does backfire as well so ill check that right now
