I am putting a vortech on my 93 cobra and have been reading about blow by. I plan to run 12lbs of boost and almost everything Ive read says to replace the PCV valve with some sort of setup. What is the most simple type of setup you guys run?

So far this looks the easiest. Turbo couple pcv valve with a little breather. Then a breather that screws or goes into the oil fill neck.

Heres a pic of the setup I found. What do you guys think? The little piece on the intake is the pcv valve I am guessing.

I didnt have to do anything like that when i had an S-Trim on my motor. There was no blow by, maybe yours will be fine without it? I'd try it regular first. Good luck

I think it's called PCV "check valve", you should put breathers on both sides too....You can never have enough ventilation.

just go get a turbo coupe PCV valve, they seal off with boost. Stock mustang PCV valves do not. Plus run a breather on the oil fill.

Great idea on the PCV from the Turbo Bird. How did you hook up? Doesn’t it have two vacuum ports?

On topic, I'm running the stock PCV setup on my truck with no issues. I had problems blowing the one out of my 95 GT but it had blow by so nothing was going to work for it.
