Well I picked up a s trim bout two months ago and I'm looking at heads now. I am still undecided wheather I am going to go with a 331 stroker or a 306. I was first looking at AFR but I'm hearing mixed reviews and on top of that their really pricy. How would a 306 twisted wedge heads and my current edelbrock performer rpm intake and s trim work out?? Cam suggestions??

a 306 can make 450 horses at the wheels easy. I would bother stroking it if your gonna blow it.

331 8.8:1 compression
Twisted wedge heads
TFS stage 1 cam
TFW street intake
8lbs of boost

You should see 450rwhp at the wheels and an ass loade of torqure. You can prolly get the same power out of a 306. However, you will need more boost and the torque curve won't be as good.

Cost depends on what you buy and where you put your money. They both have power potentil as long as you know what your doing.
