i just installed a procharger p1sc tuner kit on a buddies 01 gt, they sent a ford gt fuel pump 3 in. blow through pmas maf and 44 pound injectors, its 2 core intercooled, here is the problem, he has a sct tuner and rpm outlet keeps sending him fualty tunes, they asked to put the stock maf back in and we did, it keeps idling for about 40 seconds then shutting down, he swapped in the stock fuel pump and injectors and it idles fine but we don't want to bring it off an idle because of the lack of fuel. i suggested to him to purchase a new 255 fuel pump put the 44s back in and run the stock maf, then have have the tuner email him a fresh tune, still it idles for a a while then shuts down, i haven't heard it run since he did this so i'm unsure of idle quality, who can tune this car with the sct he wants it tuned soon. please let me know if you can take this challenge on

you need to get the idle problem fixed first..

a tune will not help that issue....

you HAVE to make sure that you get an appropriate MAF that matches/calibrated for the injectors...something tells me that there is a fault that lies in there....

a tune only helps when the car is under a load....

but your car should idle and drive around like stock until you are in it enough for the charger and injectors to make a difference...

^ as long as there is no vacuum leaks or any mechanical issues a tune can correct an idle issue because the computer needs to know whats going on with the different injectors and such. If you need a tune give us a call at Brg Racing we are in pacheco ca next to the california grand casino our number is 925 680 2560 ask for Chris he is the tuner

I wouldn't get a mail order tune. You need to get the thing on a dyno to have it tuned.

i may have confused people, i'm not interested in suggetions on how to fix it, he needs it tuned, the maf is cal'd for the 44 pound injectors, the fuel pump was faulty, he isn't going to keep a fualty pump, my goal was to find a tuner to tune it beause the tune that was emailed to him(not "mail order") with the supercharger kit is not working, there are no vacuum leaks, i'm simply trying to find somebody ro tune it for him
