Had a small pin hole leak in it tonight [Mad] I had to use some gum and tape to get home. Anything to look out for when replacing it?

yeah just be careful to not jerk on the tube too much when you remove the hose..dont want to break the core if you start tweaking the plastic tube.

yep thats the 3/4 inch one.jsut a tip for the future removal of hoses put just a dab of grease along the inside so they dont stick the next time

Hahahahaha… That’s what I did when I had to replace mine. The 96-98 4v motors have them fucking stuffed behind the passenger side valve cover and firewall. Fucking thing wouldn’t come off so I cut that bitch off with a razor.

If you haven't replaced them yet be sure to be careful when trying to pull them off the firewall end. Those tubes are direct to the heater core and you will break them off or crack the solder joint.... then your ripping the dash out to replace the heater core.
