about to reseal my stock 302. would i run into any problems with using a high volume oil pump with a stock pan?

I dnt recommend it dude! I did it to mine same thing HV pump stock pan. Fired it up and sure as hell 15 psi @ 3000 rpm all my oil was on the top. I learned the hard way hate to see you yank it back out like I did. Run a regular pump (recmnd.) or HP if you like but not the HV.

yea, thats what i was thinking was going to happen with a HV pump with a stock pan. so whats a good quality stock type oil pump. thanks

They all are good and do their job summit has what you need & sure a reg. melling will be good or a HP one.
