Does anyone know where I can get spark plugs one heat range cooler for GT40 iron heads? I've got the stock replacement Autolite plugs in my truck but with the blower I need to go with a cooler plug and can't find one. I'm using the Autolite 764's and usually you just change the last number up or down for different heat ranges but there isn't a 763, any idea's?

I just found 103 and 104's listed. They say the 104 is one step colder and the 103 is 2 steps colder. I guess I'll try the 104's and see what happens. I at least have a direction to go with it now though, thanks.

Are you sure? I read the 103's were two steps colder.... I just picked up a set of 104's and haven't put them in yet so if I'm wrong then I need to take them back. What heat range are the TR6's? My Cobra had TR55's in it but I'm doing a complete once over on it too so I need plugs for that too.

Yep, I just found all the info I needed. I found the crossover on another site yesterday and the print was so small I thought the TR6 was TR5 so that got me going in the wrong direction right out of the gate. NGK TR6, Denso T20EPR-U and Autolite 103 are all plugs that are one heat range colder and will work for DOHC Cobra or GT40 heads.

I thought I had it under control with the 104's so I'm glad you got going in the right direction or I would have swapped them in and had the exact same problems!
