If u want something different go with a muffler called LOBAK. its a sprint car style muffler but sounds mean as hell. I had a pair of 3" ones on my fastback running a 351w an eveyone thought i was running a big block.. theres a place of A street in hayward called RPM thats where i got mine something like 40 bucks each or something like that.

IMCO is pretty cool too, i think theyre out of Texas, but they make a one chamber muffler similar to the flowmaster one chamber design, i have one on my bronco w/cat and it sounds badass, not as raspy as a flow, but nice and deep.

ya purple hornies are lame ass 70's glasspacks nothing else, just like red hots and all that other shit, personally I was really happy with hooker maximum flow's, edelbrock pro flo's(even thought hey only lasted 30k ) and dynomax race bullets.
