I need to swap out my old 4lug rear end with a 5 lug rear end.... this is a complete rear end swap....i hear that it is easier than the front and i just got done with the front....
can someone tell me step-by step how to do it and/or what i need for this procedure??

what did you get the rear end off of i got mine from a 87 lincon mark 7 it came with disk too and bolts right up

what did you get the rear end off of i got mine from a 87 lincon mark 7 it came with disk too and bolts right up
i dont exactly know what it came out of, all i know is that its 5 lug and it has drum brakes..

Just change the axles and drums instead of changing out the complete rearend. Its a lot faster that way and a lot less work
Remove 4 lug drums Take cover off Remove Axle Pin Bolt (8mm or 5/16) Push Axle inwards Pull Out Axle C-Clips Remove Axles Replace with 5 lug Axles Install C-Clips Install Pin and Bolt Bolt On Cover and Add Fluid Put 5 lug Drum On
DONE!

i was thinkin about that but i recently got my old suspension alligned and the said my rear end might be bent, i dont kno if thats true but i dont want to take that risk. whats your advice??
