ok so i just put the AOD that i bought off the board in the car. before i just didnt have 4th but with the new tranny all i have is 1st and 2nd. while im driving the car feels and sounds like it wants to shift into 3rd but i just wont do it. the linkage and the TV cable are adjusted right but i just dont know where to start [Mad]

If you still have you old tranny, measure the shifter arm on the side of each of the tranny's. If they are different lengths that may be your problem???
