what are some good springs for a drag setup for my '98 gt? this is my daily driver so it still needs to be streetable, but if it rides and handles just as good as the stock suspension i'll be fine with that. just looking for some better times at the strip and a slight drop. i was thinking fox 4cyl springs for the fronts and maybe bullitts for the rear, but i'm open to suggestions.

btw, i have no suspension mods, but will definitely get some new struts, subframe connectors, etc. eventually.

If u can go 4cyl on the fron, do it. And cut the rear ones. Buy some lakewood strut/shocks and call it a day. It's not the best for street but it's a cheap reliable way for the car to hook. [patriot]

i figure it wouldn't be the best setup for street, but as long as it handles and rides similar to the stock setup i'll be fine with it.

anyways, which rear springs should i go with? or did you mean to just cut the stock springs? also, where can i find fox 4cyl springs other than in junkyards?

Yeah he means cut the stock ones and you can always order 4cyl springs from autozone or I bet some people have some if you make a thread in the f/s section

anyone have any part numbers for 4cyl springs from autozone, napa, etc.? i've heard there are some brands to stay away from considering they're not the same length as the 4cyl stockers, is this true?

I have 4cyl springs front and rear with Strange Adjustable Shocks/Struts.

I can tell you that it is perfectly streetable, I recently set my Shocks and struts to full soft and it still handles well, there is just ALOT more body roll.

However, when I disconnect my end links it wallows like a pig around corners.

well i think i'll go with 4cyl in the front but keep the rear a little stiffer. anyone recommend going with 8cyl rears or other springs or should i stick with cut stockers?

i like the rake stance, but i figured i could drop the rear a tad bit and have 4cyl in the front and still get that rake look.

anyone have any part numbers for 4cyl springs?
