Has anyone ever drilled their stock spindles with a hand drill when enlarging the holes for a bump steer kit? I need to enlarge mine and don't want to take both sides off and take them to a machine shop. I have a 5/8" drill bit.

I drilled mine when theyh were off the car. It's hardened steel. You could probally do it but it's gona bee a pain in the ass without a drill press.
