you might want to check your timing and fuel pressure...

with those pretty simple mods...you should be able to run like stock..especially with that radiator..

I even had my vert out with:

306
Ede RPM heads
E-cam
Systemax Intake
S-trim on 10 psi
long tubes--no cats a well..long tubes coated with POR-20
STOCK Radiator
black magic fan...

I got caught in a little bit of traffic with the A/C on and saw 200 before I turned the A/C off and it came back down to 190....and hovered there...

I run a 160 temp thermostat as well....

and my shit isn't even tuned yet....

gt40 heads
1.6rr
edel perf intake
65mm t/b / egr spacer
tfs1 cam
fluidyne alum rad
explorer coolant-to-oil oil cooler
mark viii fan
180 tstat

runs at 185* all day long with the fan off. fan barely ever turns on, and only when stuck in traffic.

I run anwhere from 160 all the way up to 210 or so, a little above the halfway mark, I don't feel too comfortable, but with all the heat under my hood it's good for what I have, I have an E-Fan, Summit WaterPump and Summit Radiator, it only gets hot in city driving, on the freeway it's 160 and below.

Yellow94GT never touched anyone's sig or banned anyone, so I'm going to quit spreading that rumor. It's not like I have any proof anyways. All yellow94gt and other mods have done is volunteer their time to help other people buy/sell parts, learn how to make their cars go faster and meet fellow enthusiasts. I'm a hater, but it's hard to hate on these facts. I have saved hunrdeds, maybe thousands of dollars here buying and selling parts over the years alone, but I don't care, this website owes me damnit, and I'll piss on it as much as I want. Us haters gonna hate. Why contribute to something when you can take for free?

Oh yeah, this isn't my website, so no one has to ask for my permission to change my sig. Hell, not like I pay the CAFORDS bill, so why should they need my permission to put what they want on their site? We're all guests here. Maybe some of us should start acting like guests or leave?

How many of you guys actually have an autometer temp gauge? Seems like most of you are guessing at what the stock gauge is saying?

I have autometer gauges in all 3 of my stangs and keep my temps at a solid 180. But that's because I got rid of the Lincoln Mark 8 fan, after I found out that electric fans don't flow nearly as much as mechanical fans. My temps came way down.

You must be the exception, mine got waaaay too hot with the BS stock fan and now with the Mark VIII fan I can cool it down to 160 at will.
