Going to lose some power and torque with that exhaust setup on a stock motor'd car, BUT if you're keeping the car for a while and will eventually put H/C/I on it, I'd say do it right the first time.

I would go with shorties, h-pipe w/ high flow cats, and a 2 1/2" cat back setup if the car is a street car.
If you don't car about smog then throw the longtubes, x-pipe, and cat back on there.

i'm getting another engine in about a month. i'm going to put all the goodies on it, heads, cam, intake etc.... the car is too quiet for me. i'm not interested in the power gains, because i allready know the outcome. I just want it too sound better than the stock sound. Smog is not an issue so i think the longtubes are going on, well thanks for your input guys.

If You are going to yank the engine out in a month or so then I would say go for the shorty's now and then put the longtubes on when You swap the engine. My car is up on stand's now with the starter, steering shaft, and motor mount's out "with the engine lifted on a jack, and now I am going to have to remove some trasmission lines and hopefully that will give the longtubes enough clearance . Cliff notes- I have an AOD in it and they are Mac 1 5/8th's longtubes & it's My 1st longtube install . It would be a hella of alot easier to do along with an engine swap!

i think that seems better. i'm just going to wait till i get the other engine and do it all at once. i think it would be alot easier to, once i take off all the a/c and smog things.
