I just installed a new master cylinder/brake booster/rotors/pads - now I've got worse brakes than before. Rear driver's wheel keeps putting out a blip of air when bleeding - all other wheels fine but for some reason I can't get this one bled all the way.
Just took a vacuum reading and I'm right around 12 inches of vacuum. When applying the brakes it drops a little then goes right back to 12...engine has gt-40P heads, e-303, cobra intake.
When I am driving the pedal is very mushy and when applied to the floor I still can't get the brakes to grab hard...any ideas???

Yeah I did my best to bench bleed it prior to installation. Not well enough? I thought I got all the air out but possiblly not.
I wouldn't think the air line could have 20+ bleeds on that wheel and still barely have any pedal...weird.

sounds like it needs to be pressure bleed, call up a few shops and ask if they can do a pressure bleeding for you, or buy your own - they're $50.

I called a local brake masters the other day and they wanted $50 to bleed it....I thought that was a little high but guess not.
Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah - I've got a few other Ford's in the family that we could use the Motive kit on - just ordered it from Summit (mvp-0107). Sucks because I just placed an order for some Prothane motor mounts and they've shipped already...got stuck with another handling charge. Oh well - Summit is the $hit so I won't complain....
