one of the easiest ways ive found to remove those 2 bolts after removing exhaust, driveshaft, draining trans fluid, is to:

*put a jack under the tranny.

*undo the tranny mount

*lower the jack

*now you should have clearance through the tranny tunnel. Use extensions and a swivel. the swivel goes right after the socket, then like 2 feet of extensions going through the trans tunnel and you should be able to get to the bolts. . . .--rick

either go to the parts store and get one or find a 12 point socket to git er' done [Big Grin]

*also, i would not suggest taking off the upper because your gonna have to buy a new gasket instead, you can just take that money that you wouldve spent and go buy a damn swivel [Razz] --rick

i had good luck using a gearwrench. didn't have to remove the plenum just the h pipe. [Wink]
but of course don't break the bolts with the gearwrench.
get two wrenches and use one of them to leverage the other wrench. its ghetto but works [Roll Eyes]
