I was thinking about getting some 315/30/18 BFG drag radials on my 18x10's on the rear of my Mach for the summer. can my car handle having these on the rear without reinforcing the torque boxes. And how are they in daily driving, in good weather of course. & lastly, how long will they last if driving aggressively on the street, with the ocasional burnout & hard launches & drag strip passes? My mods are....

Maximum Motorsports adj. lca's, c/c plates, panhard bar, & front coilovers. H&R SS rears. Bilstein's. Steeda bumpsteer kit, X2's, rear sway bar & Tri-Ax. SSBC slotted rotors. Hawk pads. C&L 85mm Mass air. Magnaflow CB. MRT Catted H. 18" deep dish FR500's. BFG KDW2, 265, 295.

You should be fine w/ what ya got.

They aren't like full slicks that bite hard when you dump the clutch.

Hell good luck hookin if you plan to just raise the rpm and drop the left peddle [burnout] you'll just blow the tires off.

Gotta have some finesse w/ the DR's

I had the mt drag radials for awhile and was doing 7k rpm clutch drops and dead hooking. That was running 12.30's with 4.56 gears. So as far as blowing the tires off, I think it all depends on track conditions and what not. IMO the nittos dont hook as good as the mt's. I now have the bfg drag radials and will be selling them as soon as mt makes one for an 18\10 wheel.
