for a late 60's mustang anyone do a 3g upgrade??? using a stock 3g alt???? i seen this topic on ford muscle and the topic starter ended up by going with a 1wire powermaster instead.

I have a late model 3G on my '65 race motor. All you do is tie a couple for the wires together and bingo, works like a dream. I forget which ones I tied together, so call Mario up at GR Mustangs in Redwood City and ask him. They do it all the time.
