Ya so i havent driven my car for like a month and when i went to go start it my battery was dead from my alarm and wouldnt hold a charge so i went and bought a new battery but now it doesnt attemp to start??? No crackin what so ever? Any advise and also what would i need to do to change the old one out? Its a 96gt and how much would it cost for someone to do it?

did you get the alterantor tested also? it wont start if you got a bad one. if the starter is bad you should still be able to hear it turn on it just wont turn the engine over.

I just bought the alternator less than 100 miles ago and before i bought the new battery and the dead one was in there it was making that sound when the battery is dead but now nothing?? And i really donw want to have to take off the x-pipe to get it off, does it need to come off to get the starter off? let me know

no, but jump the starter cylanoid on the fire wall first. Make sure car is in nuetral.

By the battery right? And also ive had the car for about 2 years and i have had an aftermarket alarm installed and when i got it it had had an aftermarket but someone took it out.Now when i sent the alarm the theft light comes on?? ive never seen it come on before?? Please help i miss driveing my shit. And still no sound from the starter.. Before replacing anything else I would take it back to whoever installed the alarm and have it checked. It shouldn't drain that much power and the theft light should not be activated. I would also suspect a starter kill in the alarm is the problem for not starting.

Ya i called the shop and they said to have it towed to them and a friend of mine said it probaly happened when i had hooked up the new battery. But still trying and ther is no attempt to start in any way. I ran the codes and also nothing.
